Torrent Spy Blocks Family Guy

It looks like TorrentSpy was sent a DMCA takedown notice. (I haven't seen this covered anywhere else. )

When you search for "Family Guy" you get a nice friendly error message:

"This search query has been blocked at the request of the copyright holder, in compliance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA")"

Of course this query would return copyrighted data but then again its a bit like sweeping water uphill.

Its important to note that the majority of the content on TorrentSpy is MPAA/RIAA material. I'm sure the site won't last too much longer as it seems to be the new target of the entertainment mafia industry.

Then again people should just pay for their Family Guy! I should also note that the new American Dad is brilliant! If you haven't seen it yet you should try to fit it into your schedule (warning - not compatible with conservative philosophy).
